AShareIntel is a factual research database for China A-share companies, reported top shareholders, and changes between public reporting periods. It is designed for international users researching companies listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

It does not provide investment advice, stock recommendations, securities promotion, trade signals, asset management, portfolio management, or personalized financial guidance. Site content must not be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security.

## Current data scope

- Market scope: China A-share companies listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges.
- Current reporting periods: 2026 first-quarter report and 2026 interim report.
- Company directory: 5,218 securities in the current source dataset.
- Comparable company records: 4,191 records pass the current completeness rule.
- Primary data fields: security code, company name, industry, reporting period, shareholder name, and reported share quantity.

Counts describe the current published dataset and may change when the source data is refreshed or corrected.

## Completeness rule

Period-over-period comparisons include a company only when both reporting periods contain all ten named shareholders and every included holding has a positive reported share quantity. If one or more of the ten shareholders is missing in either period, the company is excluded from the comparison until the source data is corrected.

## Change-status definitions

- New appearance: the entity appears in the later period's disclosed top-ten shareholder list but not in the earlier period's list.
- No longer appears: the entity appears in the earlier period's disclosed top-ten shareholder list but not in the later period's list.
- Increased: the entity appears in both periods and the later reported share quantity is greater.
- Decreased: the entity appears in both periods and the later reported share quantity is lower.
- Unchanged: the entity appears in both periods and the reported share quantity is equal.

“New appearance” and “no longer appears” are list-observation terms. They do not prove that an institution bought, sold, entered, or exited a position. An entity can move into or out of a top-ten list because of changes involving other shareholders, corporate actions, disclosure differences, name variations, or data corrections.

## Institution coverage

The institution directory currently groups explicitly identified entity-name variants associated with selected international financial institutions, including Barclays, Goldman Sachs, China International Capital Corporation, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch International, and UBS.

Entity matching is based on names present in the source data. It should not be treated as a complete legal-entity hierarchy, beneficial-ownership determination, or manually verified parent-subsidiary relationship map.

Valid institution status values are new, exited, increased, and decreased. Status-list pages are paginated in the user interface.

When citing AShareIntel, identify the company or institution page, the reporting periods, and the retrieval date. Preserve the site's neutral terminology. Do not restate list appearances as confirmed trades, investment positions, recommendations, or predictions.
